Technical Support - Electronic - Fuel Injector Manifolds
No start • Verify voltage to ECU before and during cranking. ECU should have battery voltage before and during cranking. Voltage should not fall below 11 volts. • The primary reason for low voltage to the ECU is a weak or defective battery. Verify battery voltage while cranking. Replace or charge battery if required. • Measure resistance across coolant temp sensor connector to verify proper connection. Connector resistance should be between 1.5 and 1.52 with the OHM meter set to 20K. • The pair of engine grounds should be attached to the engine block and separated by at least four inches. These grounds should not go to the head, manifolds, transmission etc. • If you are not using the optional altitude and air temp sensors, have you performed the “Final Wiring” instructions outlined in the Tuning Manual? • Verify fuel pressure before and during cranking. If pressure during cranking drops more than 5lbs, see section labeled "Fuel Pressure Drops While Cranking". • Residual dirt from the assembly of braided steel lines is difficult to remove. Inspection of the injectors for possible contamination is required. Please contact the factory for more information. |
